このスポットについて
A historic site tucked into a corner of the Otemachi office district in Chiyoda City, Tokyo, said to enshrine the head of Taira no Masakado, a warrior of the Heian period. Legend holds that after Masakado was killed in the Tengyō Rebellion (940), his severed head flew back here from Kyoto. Surrounded by the high-rises of central Tokyo, it is a quiet space that is still carefully tended, and worshippers come in a steady stream to this day.
