このスポットについて
A shrine standing quietly a short walk from Hongo-sanchome Station. Sengen shrines were founded across Japan out of devotion to Mt. Fuji, and generally enshrine Konohanasakuya-hime-no-mikoto. In the town of Edo, Fuji-ko (Mt. Fuji worship associations) spread widely and many such shrines came into being. Stop in while walking through Hongo and take in the traces of Mt. Fuji worship that remain in the neighborhood.
