A shrine set in the streets of Hongo, just a short walk from Hongo-sanchome Station. The surrounding area is an academic quarter where the University of Tokyo, old shops and narrow sloping lanes intertwine, and once you pass through the torii the stir of the street softens a little. It is not large, but it is just the right place to stop and offer a prayer partway through a walk. Try visiting it along with the nearby temples and shrines.
