このスポットについて
A museum that once stood east of Sensoji Temple, beside the Nitenmon Gate. It exhibited a collection of "BORO" — cloth that farming families in Aomori mended and patched layer upon layer as they used it — along with ukiyo-e prints, centered on garments gathered by the folklore researcher Chuzaburo Tanaka. It closed in March 2019. As you walk the east side of Sensoji, try picturing what used to be here.
