A branch temple of Sensoji, popularly known as Matsuchiyama Shoden. It stands on a small hill along the Sumida River, and after its principal image, Daisho Kangiten, a daikon radish and a drawstring pouch are used as the temple crest, with the custom of worshippers offering daikon radishes continuing to this day. Climb the stone steps and the view opens up; it is just the right distance for a walk from central Asakusa.
