このスポットについて
Standing within Sumida Park, this is the head guardian shrine of the entire Honjo area. It is said to have been founded in 860 (Jogan 2), and in its grounds sits the "nadeushi," an ox figure said to heal the part of your body that matches the spot you stroke. The rare Miwa torii, made by combining three torii gates, is another highlight. It makes a natural stop on a walk along the Sumida River, where you can catch your breath beneath the trees.
