An Inari shrine you can reach on foot from Asakusa Station. Inari shrines enshrine the deity who governs grain and food, and later came to draw wide devotion for prosperity in business as well. One street in from the bustle of the main avenue, the torii gate and shrine hall stand quietly side by side. It is a place suited to stopping mid-walk, bowing once, and setting off again.
