A temple standing in the area around Tawaramachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Step one block in from the main street and you find calm lanes where houses and temples are mixed together; Senshoji sits in one such corner. It is not a place groomed for tourism, but stopping by on your way back from a walk in Asakusa reveals another face of the neighborhood.
