このスポットについて
A cutlery specialty shop started in 1792 (Kansei 4) by the first-generation owner Isuke Kato through noren-wake, an independent branch granted by his master. Along with kitchen knives and scissors, it carries tools created in collaboration with craftspeople from across Japan, such as the pure copper condiment grater "Tsuru" at ¥2,750. Blade-sharpening demonstrations and maintenance consultations are held in the store. There is also an adjoining exhibition space, "izutuki."
