Pâtissier Keisuke Oyama's patisserie with an attached cafe in Kabutocho. Fresh cakes made to the gram, degree and millimeter are the signature: honeyed apple chiboust at 1,020 yen and Amazon cacao tiramisu at 1,200 yen. You can rest inside while watching the open kitchen at work. Baked sweets for gifts are well stocked, making it a good final stop.

A micro-complex in a former bank completed in 1923 (Taisho 12), fully renovated. Floors 2 to 4 are a hotel, while the ground floor holds "CAFE DANCE", "AKAI BAR" and the izakaya "MARUYAMA". In the basement is the world's first Brooklyn Brewery flagship beer hall — a good call for an evening drink. The age of the building is felt throughout.

Tokyo Great Kayaking Tour

A guided kayak tour paddling the Nihonbashi River and the Sumida River. From Kayabacho you enter the Nihonbashi River beneath the expressway and view the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Edobashi Junction from the water — a perspective walking cannot give you.
