A temple a walk from Nezu Station, in the area known as Yanesen. Much of this neighborhood was largely spared wartime destruction, and old buildings, temples and shrines are scattered along its narrow alleys and sloping lanes. It is just the place to pass through the main gate mid-stroll, catch your breath in the quiet precincts, and then return to wandering the back streets.
