A museum dedicated to paper, located within Asukayama Park. Founded in 1950 and relocated to its current site in 1998, the museum stands in Oji — the birthplace of Japan's modern paper industry in the Meiji era — and features wide-ranging exhibits covering the history and manufacturing techniques of both Japanese washi and Western-style paper.
