A plaza beside Kuhonbutsu Station. The name Kuhonbutsu comes from the nine statues of Amida Nyorai enshrined at nearby Joshinji Temple, and it has been carried on in the station name and the local place name. It's an easy corner to sit down and catch your breath, whether after walking the approach to Joshinji or in the brief time before boarding a train.
