A shrine founded in 1940 (Showa 15), enshrining Togo Heihachiro, who led the Combined Fleet in the Russo-Japanese War. Although it stands right beside Takeshita Street, the grounds open into a garden set around a pond, with small paths you can walk along the water's edge. It's a place where you'll be surprised how the air changes just minutes from the bustling street.
