A shrine in a quiet corner between Harajuku and Omotesando, a short walk from Meiji-jingumae 'Harajuku' Station. "Onden" is the old place name for this area, and the shrine was long enshrined as its guardian deity. The precincts are so quiet you would never guess they are only a few minutes from the crowded streets, and you can catch your breath beneath the trees. It is a place that recalls what the neighborhood once looked like.
