A temple within walking distance of Hikifune Station. It stands in an area of unbroken housing, and once you pass through the gate the sounds of the town recede a little. Drop in partway through a walk, catch your breath in the grounds, then set off again — it suits that way of spending time. On a day spent walking the old downtown from Hikifune over to Mukōjima, stop here for a break.
