このスポットについて
A memorial museum that opened in 1981 in Fukagawa, the area where the haiku poet Matsuo Basho spent his later years. You can reach it by walking from Kiyosumi-shirakawa Station toward the Sumida River. On display are Basho's letters and materials related to 'The Narrow Road to the Deep North' (Oku no Hosomichi), and the rooftop garden offers views of the Sumida River and scenery connected to Basho.
