このスポットについて
A strolling-style landscape garden of ponds and woods, laid out in the Meiji era by Iwasaki Yataro, just a few minutes' walk from Kiyosumi-shirakawa Station. Celebrated stones gathered from all over Japan are arranged around the pond, and you can take in the scenery of each season as you make your way past the spring-fed water, the artificial hills, and the dry landscape garden. Designated a Place of Scenic Beauty by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, it is a place to spend a quiet, unhurried moment in the middle of a walk through the old downtown.
