A shrine within walking distance of Jiyugaoka Station. The name Kumano Shrine has been handed down at shrines founded by inviting the deities of the Kumano Sanzan in Kii Province (present-day Wakayama Prefecture), and shrines of the same name are found in many places. Once you pass through the torii gate, the sounds of the street fade a little, so it makes a good spot to catch your breath partway through a walk around town.
