A historic site in the area reached by walking from Meguro Station toward Shirokanedai, said to be the remains of the residence of a medieval local magnate. Traces of earthen ramparts can be seen around it, and it is also considered the origin of the place name, which derives from the Muromachi-period lord known as the "Shirokane Choja." Recommended for a walk in search of quiet traces of history standing within a residential neighborhood.
