このスポットについて
A museum reached by walking the approach path to Meiji Jingu from Harajuku Station. It opened in 2019 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the shrine's enshrinement, in a building designed by Kengo Kuma. It holds and exhibits items associated with Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken, as well as treasures handed down at the shrine. The low-lying building makes generous use of wood, and offers a quiet stop partway through a walk in the forest.
