このスポットについて
Next to the National Diet Building, on high ground up the slope from Sakuradamon Station, this facility introduces the history of parliamentary politics in Japan. It opened in 1970 to mark the 80th anniversary of the opening of the Diet. In the Edo period this area was the site of the residence of the Ii family, lords of the Hikone domain, and the surroundings are a garden with many trees, quiet enough to sit down in when your legs are tired.
