Just a short walk from Kudanshita Station, this facility houses and exhibits old documents and artworks handed down in the Satake family, the former lords of the Akita Domain. In its small exhibition rooms you can take an unhurried look at arms and armor, calligraphy and paintings, and records relating to the domain's history. It makes a quiet stop along a walk through Kitanomaru Park or down Yasukuni-dori.
