An international airport in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture. It opened in 1978 as New Tokyo International Airport and was renamed Narita International Airport in 2004, in step with its privatization. Narita Airport Station and Airport Terminal 2 Station connect directly to the terminals, so you can walk all the way to the arrivals lobby using the railway alone. From the observation deck, you can watch aircraft coming down onto the runway.
