A mini-theater right in front of Shimokitazawa Station. As its name ("ekimae" = in front of the station) says, it stands by the station, and it mainly screens films that rarely make it onto large multiplex schedules. It's a place that lets you slot a movie into a Shimokitazawa walk spent browsing vintage clothing shops and cafés. Part of the appeal is being close enough to step straight back out into the neighborhood when the film ends.
